Ingredients

  • g 1,250 fish fillet (s) (mackerel fillet or other firm fish fillet), steamed
  • 750 g potato (s), steamed
  • 4 onion (s)
  • 6 pickled cucumber (s)
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 100 g cheese, rated
  • salt and pepper
  • Worcester sauce
  • garlic
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Peel the fish fillet steamed in its own juice with a fork, peel the freshly cooked potatoes and cut into thin slices. Sauté the sliced onions in butter and add the grated garlic.
  2. Layer alternately fish, onions, slices of pickles and potatoes in a greased casserole dish, season with pepper and Worcester sauce, sprinkle with chopped parsley, sprinkle with grated cheese, put a few flakes of butter on top and bake the dish in the tube for 10 to 12 minutes.
