Ingredients

  • 500 g meat loaf
  • 450 g mushrooms
  • 4 small pickles
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoon cucumber liquid

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat loaf into strips. Clean the mushrooms and cut them in half if necessary. Peel and slice the onions. Cut the pickles into slices.
  2. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the meatloaf strips in it, then remove them. Fry the mushrooms and onions in the oil. Sprinkle the flour on top and sweat. Then carefully stir in the milk and vegetable stock. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Now stir in the mustard, the cucumber slices and the meatloaf strips into the sauce. Season to taste with salt, pepper and cucumber liquid. Arrange everything on plates and serve.
  4. Parsley potatoes go well with it.
