Ingredients

  • 2 kg minced meat, half and half
  • 3 egg (s)

  • 250 g jerky meat, diced
  • 6 medium onion (s)
  • 2 glasses mushrooms
  • 500 ml sweet cream
  • 1 liter milk
  • 500 g crème fraîche
  • 1 packet sauce powder (cream sauce)
  • 1 packet sauce powder (gravy)
  • Meat broth, grains
  • 200 g cheese, rated, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare a minced meat batter from minced meat, eggs, 4 finely chopped onions, squeezed rolls, spices and squeezed garlic. Shape 25 to 30 smaller meatballs out of them and fry them in oil.
  2. Put the meatballs in a roaster. Roast the jerky meat, 6 finely chopped onions and mushrooms in oil for about 10 minutes. Mix the cream, milk, creme fraiche and sauce powder, add to the jerky-mushroom mixture and bring everything to the boil. Season to taste with salt and some grained meat stock. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and let stand overnight.
  3. Cover and simmer the next day at 225 ° C in the oven for 45 minutes. Remove the lid and bake with or without cheese for another 15 minutes.
