Oven-baked Notothenia Fish

Very tasty fish with vegetables, mushrooms, and celery, baked in the oven. We will cook sea white fish nototenia. There are very few bones in it, and the pulp is very tender and tasty.

Cook: 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • Fish notothenia – 800 g (7 pcs.)
  • Champignons – 3 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Celery (stem) – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 50 g
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • For the sauce:
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Fresh herbs (onion, dill) – a small bunch

How to cook fish baked in the oven:

Directions

  1. Gut the fish, peel, and rinse with cold water.
  2. Place the small fish in a bowl and cut the larger fish into 2 parts.
  3. Salt a little.
  4. Cut the mushrooms into small pieces.
  5. Dice the onion.
  6. Grate carrots on a coarse grater.
  7. Cut the celery stalk into small pieces.
  8. Put onions, carrots, celery, and mushrooms in a deep bowl.
  9. Finely chop the green onion and dill leaves.
  10. Start making the sauce. Break an egg into a deep bowl.
  11. Add 2 tbsp of sour cream. And stir well
  12. Add half a teaspoon of salt if desired.
  13. Add finely chopped herbs to the sauce. And mix until smooth.
  14. Lightly grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil
  15. Put vegetables and mushrooms on the bottom.
  16. Lay the fish on top.
  17. Pour the sauce prepared earlier.
  18. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  19. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the fish.
  20. Place the fish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Fish with mushrooms and vegetables cooks quickly!
