Pesto Shrimp Pasta Recipe

  • 250 g spaghetti
  • 250 g shrimp
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 300 g pesto sauce
  • salt, pepper to taste


  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • Defrost the shrimp, if it is necessary to peel it. Remember that if the shrimp is not peeled, you will need more, because you need to put 250 g in the paste.
  • Boil a large amount of water in a saucepan, season with salt. Boil the spaghetti until al dente. Throw the finished spaghetti in a colander, keeping about 50 ml of water in which the pasta was cooked.
  • Peel the garlic.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the garlic until golden brown. Then take out the garlic.
  • Place the shrimp in a skillet and fry, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.
  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, add the spaghetti water.
  • Put ready-made spaghetti and pesto sauce with shrimps.
  • Stir everything until smooth, the whole pasta should be covered with pesto sauce. Sprinkle with finely grated Parmesan on top.
