Ingredients

  • 175 g pine nuts
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 150 g butter or mararine
  • 275 g flour
  • 125 g powdered suar
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Roast 100g pine nuts in the pan without fat until they smell and grind finely in the universal chopper.
  2. Separate egg. Knead the fat, flour, 50g powdered sugar, ground pine nuts and egg yolks into a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for an hour.
  3. Roll out the dough about 3mm thick and cut out stars. Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper.
  4. For the meringue, sieve 75g powdered sugar. Beat the egg whites until stiff, sprinkling in the powdered sugar. Brush stars with it. Sprinkle with 75g pine nuts.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C) for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Let cool down, sprinkle with a little powdered sugar.
