Ingredients

  • Pork steak on the bone, 3 cm thick – 4 pcs.
  • Cumin, seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds (chopped) – 1 tablespoon L.
  • Ground chili pepper – 1 tablespoon L.
  • Salt – 1 tablespoon L.
  • Black pepper (chopped) – 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons l.
    For salsa:
  • Mango (diced) – 1 pc.
  • Creamy tomatoes (diced) – 2 pcs.
  • Red onions (diced) – 0.5 cups
  • Green onions (chopped) – 2 pcs.
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped) – 0.75 cups
  • Orange juice – 0.25 cups
  • Lime juice – 2 tbsp
  • Tabasco sauce – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Prepare salsa. In a small bowl, combine mango, tomato, whole onion, lime juice, cilantro, orange juice, and tabasco sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add vegetable oil, mix.
  2. In a small bowl, combine cumin seeds, coriander seeds, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Wash the meat, dry it on a paper towel, sprinkle with spices on all sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the pork steaks in a preheated skillet and fry for about 3-5 minutes on each side. To check the readiness of the meat, you need to make an incision near the bone, the finished meat should have a deep pink color. If the meat is bright pink, then you need to continue to fry it until tender.
  4. Transfer the fried meat to a plate, cover with foil, leave to rest for minutes
  5.  Place the pork steaks on portioned plates and top with the salsa. Serve immediately.
