Puff Herring Salad

Puff salads always look great on the holiday table. And when the salad is bright in spring, and also tasty, it is impossible to resist and not try. This salad uses a mustard dressing, which gives the salad a spicy taste.

Ingredients
- Herring fillet – 1 pc.
- Potatoes – 2-3 pcs.
- Carrots – 2 pcs.
- Bulb onions – 1 pc.
- Eggs – 3 pcs.
- Apple (large, sour varieties) – 1 pc.
- Mayonnaise – 200 g
- Mustard – 1 tbsp
- Salt – optional
- Parsley or dill greens – 1 bunch (large)
Directions
- To prepare puff salad with herring, boil and peel potatoes, carrots, eggs.
- Cooking salad dressing. Mix mayonnaise with mustard and salt a little if desired.
- Cut the onion into thin half rings and pour boiling water over it for a few minutes to remove the bitterness.
- We form the salad. To do this, install a split form without a bottom on a flat plate.
- With the first layer of salad, lay out the diced potatoes and grease them with the prepared sauce.
- Lay out the diced herring in the second layer.
- With the third layer on the herring, spread the onion cut into half rings and grease with sauce.
- The fourth layer of salad is diced carrots. Grease a layer of carrots with sauce.
- The fifth layer of salad is diced eggs. Grease the eggs with sauce.
- The sixth layer of lettuce is a diced apple. Grease the last layer of salad with sauce.
- Sprinkle the top and sides of the flaky herring salad with plenty of herbs.
