Ingredients

  • 2 kohlrabi
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped coconut oil, solid, if liquid, about 3 tablespoon
  • some salt and pepper
  • some paprika powder, noble sweet, smoked

Also: optional ingredients if the kohlrabi is the main course

  • 2 teaspoons, heaped sour cream
  • some basil or other herbs
  • some paprika powder
  • acon cubes
  • 2 egg (s)

Instructions

  1. Peel the kohlrabi and cut into medium-sized cubes. Put the coconut oil and then the kohlrabi cubes in a pan. Fry everything to the desired brownness, this takes about 5 - 7 minutes. Mix everything in between so that the kohlrabi doesn`t burn. Only at the end add the spices and mix again. If the fried cabbage is intended as a side dish, it can now be served.
  2. But it can also be seasoned and served as the sole low-carb meal with a large dollop of sour cream and, for example, basil and additional paprika.
  3. Another idea is to add bacon cubes to the fried kohlrabi after about 3 minutes and stir in 2 eggs at the end.
