Ingredients

  • 250 g tomato (s)
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 100 g peas, frozen
  • 2 pinches salt and pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cumin
  • 1 tablespoon mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ lime zest, grated
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 4 medium pork steak (s) a 80 g (neck)

Instructions

  1. For 2 servings, first quarter the tomatoes, remove the seeds and dice them.
  2. Do the same with the onion and garlic (cut into small cubes).
  3. Now sauté everything in 2 tablespoons of oil (garlic and onion) and also add the frozen ebsen. Season everything with salt, the cumin and pepper and then put in a bowl.
  4. Now add the tomatoes, the zest of the lime zest, the mint and a 1 tablespoon chili sauce to the bowl. Then season with salt, lime juice and a pinch of pepper to taste.
  5. Sear the steaks in the remaining oil on each side. It is usually sufficient to calculate 2-3 minutes per side. Also season this with salt + pepper and serve with the salsa.
