Sandwiches with Mackerel and Lemon

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Wheat bread – 400 g
  • Salted mackerel – 1 pc.
  • Lemon – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Greens – for decoration

Directions

  1. Prepare the mackerel. Cut off the head and tail. Remove the intestines, rinse with cold water. Dry.
  2. Remove bones and skins from mackerel. Drizzle with lemon juice and leave for 10-15 minutes. Cut into thin pieces.
  3. Slice the loaf. Smear pieces of the loaf with butter.
  4. Put prepared mackerel slices on top of the loaf pieces, decorate the sandwiches with thin slices of lemon and herbs.
