  • Smoked bacon (cut into pieces) – 50 g
  • Fava beans (garden beans) – 230 g
  • Sweet sherry – 15 g (1 tablespoon. L.)
  • Olive oil – 30 g (2 tablespoon. L.)
  • Small onions (finely chopped) – 1 pc.
  • Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 clove
  • Paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Saute with Beans And Bacon Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or saucepan. Pour the onion, garlic and bacon into the pan, cook over high heat, stirring for about 5 minutes, until the bacon is brown and the onions are soft.
  2. Then put the beans in a skillet (saucepan), sprinkle with paprika and cook for about 1 minute.
  3. Drizzle the sherry over the contents of the pan, reduce the heat, cover the pan and simmer for about 5-10 minutes, until the beans are soft.
  4. Season the sauté with salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve hot.
