Sour Cream Mousse with Marshmallows

An uncomplicated dessert recipe – a very tasty, delicate and sweet mousse made from sour cream and marshmallows. Sour cream mousse is prepared from a minimum of products and in a matter of minutes! You just need to be patient, because it will take time to cool the sour cream dessert in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

  • Sour cream – 600 g
  • Marshmallow – 300 g
  • Lemon (zest) – 1 piece
  • Vanillasugar – 0.5 teaspoon

  • For decoration:
  • Chopped walnuts,
  • Cranberries dried, chopped

Directions

  1. Place the sour cream in a bowl (or blender bowl). Break the marshmallow into pieces and add half to the sour cream. Use a blender to whisk sour cream with marshmallows. While whisking, add the marshmallows until you are satisfied with the sweetness of the dessert.
  2. You should get a homogeneous thick mass, similar to melted ice cream. Add lemon zest and vanilla sugar (can be substituted with vanilla essence or natural vanilla).
  3. Arrange the finished sour cream mousse with marshmallows in bowls or beautiful glasses. Place the mousse in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Garnish with chopped nuts when serving. I sprinkled the mousse with finely chopped dried cranberries.
