Ingredients

  • 500 g spelled flour, type 630
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 0.5 liter ½ water, lukewarm
  • 1 teaspoon bread spice mixture
  • 1 packet tartar baking powder
  • 100 g flaxseed
  • 100 g pumpkin seeds
  • Olive oil for the baking pan

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the tartar baking powder. Then mix in the salt, bread spices, flax seeds and pumpkin seeds. Finally add the lukewarm water and knead by hand.
  2. Grease a loaf pan with a little olive oil and pour in the batter. Brush the surface of the dough with a little water to make it nice and crispy.
  3. Place in the cold oven and bake at 200 ° C top / bottom heat for 60 minutes.
  4. The same dough can also be used for delicious spelled rolls, e.g. with sunflower seeds.
