Sponge Cake “Emerald Velvet”

Bright and delicious sponge cake of gorgeous green color amazes everyone with its appearance. Ingredients

  • Eggs – 4 pcs
  • Sugar – 130 g
  • Flour – 130 g
  • Sunflower oil – 60 g
  • Spinach – 100 g
  • Lemon zest – 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 sachet
  • Baking powder – 1.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Beat spinach (frozen) with sunflower oil in a blender.
  2. Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks with 80 g of sugar,
  3. Add pounded spinach and lemon zest to the whipped yolks.
  4. We mix.
  5. Beat the whites with 50 g of sugar and vanilla sugar.
  6. Mix flour with baking powder.
    Add flour and whipped egg whites to the yolks with spinach in three steps, gently stir in.
  7. We spread the biscuit dough into a mold. We bake the biscuit in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  8. Chic, rich green color – so positive and springy, the biscuit is ready!
