Stuffed Onions with Ceat and Rice (in the Oven)

A simple recipe that can surprise everyone! Stuffed onions or almost stuffed cabbage rolls in the oven – interesting and tasty! Be sure to try cooking!

Ingredients

  • Bulb onions – 2-3 pcs.
  • Minced meat – 300-400 g
  • Rice – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh greens (parsley) – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp

Directions

  1. The set of products for the recipe is minimal. There is porridge from an ax, and we have cabbage rolls from onions!
    We clean the onion.
  2. Fill the rice with boiling water and leave for 10 minutes.
  3. We cut each onion in half lengthwise, but only to the middle.
  4. We send the onion into boiling salted water and cook for 3 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 ° С.
  5. As soon as the onion has cooled slightly (so that you can work with it further), we disassemble it in layers (into petals).
  6. We turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  7. For the filling, combine the minced meat and finely chopped greens.
  8. Drain the water from the rice. Add the steamed rice to the filling. Salt the filling, pepper and mix well.
  9. Put a full tablespoon of the filling in each onion blank.
  10. Wrap the filling, correct the edges of the onion.
  11. Put the stuffed onion in a mold, pour a little vegetable oil on top. Spread the oil over the surface of the onion with a culinary brush. We send the onion to the preheated oven.
  12. We bake for 30-40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees (focus on your oven).
  13. Serve stuffed onions with sour cream or homemade preservation (delicious salad or tomatoes in their own juice). Cook to your health and enjoy!
