Ingredients

  • 0.25 ¼ cucumber (s)
  • 0.5 ½ tomato (s)
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 1 slice (s) processed cheese (Chester)
  • 5 anchovy fillet (s), pickled (anchovies)
  • 1 burger patty
  • 1 slice bacon
  • 2 tablespoon salad mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ chilli flakes
  • 1 burger bun

Surf and Turf Chili Cheeseburger with Anchovies

Instructions

  1. Cut the cucumber, tomato and onion into slices. Fry the patty and bacon in a pan. Mix the mayonnaise and ketchup together and season with cayenne pepper and chilli flakes.
  2. Toast the two halves of the burger bun. Place the slice of Chester on top of the burger patty. Brush the two insides of the burger bun with the sauce. Place the burger patty with the cheese on the underside of the burger bun. Top with the anchovies and bacon. Finish with the cucumber, tomato and onion and cover with the top of the bun.
