Swedish meatballs (Swedish meatballs) are made from ground beef and fried in a pan. Delicious meatballs served in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
Minced beef – 500 g
Stale loaf – 2 pieces
Milk (to soak the pieces of bread)
Bulb onions – 1 pc.
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg – pinch
For the sauce:
Broth – 400 ml
Cream 35% – 4 tbsp
Flour – 2 tbsp
Directions
Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil.Combine
Combine minced meat, onion, roll (soak in milk and squeeze), salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Form the meatballs with wet hands, fry them in vegetable oil on all sides (10 minutes).
While the meatballs are fried, I prepare the sauce. In the classic recipe, it is cooked separately in a pan. But I like to keep things simple, so I mix broth, cream and flour in a blender.
When the meatballs are fried, pour the sauce over them, bring to a boil and heat for 1-2 minutes.
The meatballs are ready to serve with your favorite side dish.
