Ingredients

  • 150 g flour type 405
  • 35 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 180 ml oat milk (oat drink) or other vegetable milk or mineral water
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ psyllium husks
  • Coconut flakes or lemon peel or rum flavor

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and baking powder together in a bowl. Then add the coconut oil and the plant-based milk or the soda and mix with a whisk. At the end stir in the psyllium husks and the extra ingredients such as coconut flakes etc. and then leave to rest for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Preheat and grease the waffle iron and gradually bake the waffles. It is best to place them on a wire rack or something similar instead of on a plate. Serve with powdered sugar or ice cream or fruit.
  3. The recipe makes 4 waffles.
  4. Tip: Instead of the psyllium husks, you can also add 1 tablespoon apple sauce or 1/4 mashed banana to the batter.
