Wafer Rolls (Simple Recipe for Every Day)

Waffles baked in an electric waffle iron look very appetizing. A simple electric waffle iron recipe will show you how to make roll waffles or bake waffle cake.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 5 pcs.
  • Sugar – 5 tbsp
  • Butter – 0.5 cups
  • Sour cream – 0.5 cups
  • Flour – 1 glass

Directions

  1. Separate the whites from the yolks and refrigerate.
  2. Melt the butter and cool slightly.
  3. Combine sugar and yolks.
  4. Grind the yolks with sugar until white.
  5. Add melted butter (not hot) to them.
  6. Add sour cream, mix.
  7. Add flour and stir well until smooth.
  8. Beat the whites with a mixer until they foam.
  9. Add chilled whites, whipped into a thick foam, into the mass of yolks.
  10. Mix gently from top to bottom.
  11. Preheat the waffle iron, open and pour a tablespoon of the prepared dough into the middle of the lower half of the mold.
  12. Then close and, pressing lightly, bake for 1-2 minutes. depending on the desired color of the wafers and the mains voltage.
  13. Remove the baked waffles with a knife and immediately roll the waffles into a hot tube at the end of a wooden stick or metal tube with a diameter of 2-3 cm pulled out from the table. Remove the hardened waffles (after about 1 min.) And put on a dish.
  14. Chilled wafer tubes can be stuffed with any cream, for example, butter, milk-egg, or protein-butter.
