Ingredients

  • 20 g yeast
  • 300 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 teaspoon salt (e.g. sea salt)
  • 1 teaspoon cane sugar
  • 250 g semolina (durum wheat semolina or durum wheat), finely round
  • 250 g spelled, finely round
  • 40 ml olive oil

Instructions

  1. Stir the yeast with a little water until smooth, stir in the remaining water, salt and cane sugar. Add durum wheat semolina, spelled flour and oil. Knead the dough vigorously for 5-10 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Knead again vigorously and shape. Then let rise for another 20 minutes.
  2. Bake at 175 ° C for about 30-40 minutes.
