Whole Grain Focaccia with Grapes

Focaccia is an Italian flatbread. The focaccia cake is perfect for a picnic and will be very useful for a festive table. This recipe is used to prepare focaccia from yeast dough. And grapes will become a real highlight of Italian bread.

Ingredients

  • Grapes (seedless) – 150 g
  • Whole grain flour – 250 g
  • Warm milk (35-37 degrees) – 100 ml
  • Fresh yeast – 10 g
  • Salt – 2-3 g
  • Sugar – 10 g
  • Dried (or fresh) basil
  • Dried Provencal herbs
  • Olive oil – about 50 ml

Directions

  1. The yeast must be mixed with sugar.
  2. Add milk (it should not be cold, but in no case should it be hot). Let the yeast stand in an environment favorable for their growth for about 10 minutes.
  3. Pour in flour. Add seasoning. You can also add chopped basil. Salt the dough. Pour in olive oil at the end.
  4. Knead a soft dough. If we feel that there is not enough liquid, then add some milk. When the dough rises, it must be settled. Next, you should leave the yeast dough to rise in a warm place for another half hour.
  5. We plant it again, distribute the dough along the bottom of the mold to make a round cake. We leave this circle of dough for lifting. Then we stick the grapes over the entire surface of the future focaccia, immerse them in the dough.
  6. We put the bread to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. After 40-45 minutes, the focaccia with grapes and Provencal herbs will be ready. We cut the focaccia from the wine and enjoy the original taste!
  7. Whole grain focaccia with grapes turned out just great!
