Baked Shark Steaks

Now there are excellent frozen shark steaks on store shelves. We will figure out how to cook them properly, and I will tell you a couple of secrets to making shark steaks!

Ingredients

  • Shark steak – 2 pcs.
  • Oyster sauce (or sunflower oil) (optional) – 1 tbsp
  • Spices for fish – 1 teaspoon.
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
    For soaking:
  • Water – 100 g
  • Lemon juice – 50 g (or vinegar)
    For filing:
  • Lemon juice
  • Fresh vegetables

Directions

  1. Defrost steaks slowly, ideally in the refrigerator, and leave overnight. Next, the steaks must be washed and soaked in water with lemon juice (or vinegar) for two hours. (You can also soak in milk.) If not soaked, the steaks will taste bitter.
  2. Cut the skin off the steaks and marinate the shark in spices, oyster sauce (or sunflower oil), and black pepper. Leave on for 15 minutes.
  3. Bake shark steaks in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, covered with foil, and another 10 minutes without foil. Serve baked shark steaks with vegetables, sprinkle with lemon juice.
