Ingredients

  • 1350 g ribs
  • ½ - 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic ground
  • 1 tbsp onion ground
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1-2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 2 teaspoons oregano dried
  • 2-4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3-4 tbsp barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Rinse the ribs under running water and dry them with paper towels.
  2. Mix the salt with the garlic, onion, chilli, sugar, paprika and oregano.
  3. Rub the spare ribs first with oil and then neatly with spices.
  4. You should try to distribute the whole thing evenly over the entire surface.
  5. Place the ribs in a sealing bag and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
  6. Cover the baking sheet with two layers of foil and place the ribs on top.
  7. Fold the spare ribs into a package.
  8. Bake in an oven preheated to 120 ° C for about 3.5 - 4 hours.
  9. Open the foil and coat the ribs with barbecue sauce to make the sauce thicker on the ribs.
  10. Place in the oven for another 7-10 minutes.
