Beefsteak with Butter

For meat lovers – a simple beef steak recipe. We fry the meat to your favorite degree of doneness. Juicy meat with a light creamy taste and garlic notes will be a great dinner.

Ingredients

  • Beef – 500 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil (olive or sunflower) – 30 ml
  • Butter – 20 g
  • Garlic (for serving, optional) – 2 cloves

Directions

  1. For the steak, I buy fillet, thigh, or roast beef. The beef should be fresh, not frozen. Cut the beef across the fibers into steaks no more than 2-2.5 cm thick. Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper on both sides. Leave on for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the skillet well, pour in olive or sunflower oil.
  3. Spoon steaks into the hot oil. Roast beef over high heat, choosing the cooking time required for your favorite doneness: – for a steak with blood, 2 minutes are enough on each side; – for a medium roast – 3-3.5 minutes; – I like the steak to be well done and I cook the meat for about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. During cooking, steaks must be constantly turned from one side to the other so that the meat is properly fried and not burnt. Put a piece of butter in the pan. When the butter is melted, pour over the beef steaks to keep them juicy. Do this several times on both sides of the meat.
  5. Transfer the grilled meat to a plate. Let stand for 5-10 minutes. The steak is ready and ready to serve. Sprinkle the meat with chopped garlic.
