Ingredients

  • 1 kg minced meat (beef)
  • 200 g feta cheese (Patros)
  • 200 g cheese, rated (from you may)
  • 2 tablespoon mustard (grill and steak mustard)
  • 1 tablespoon spice mix for gyros
  • 1 tablespoon spice mix for cevapcici
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, Hungarian, noble sweet
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 4 tablespoon oil (peanut oil)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 500 g potato (s) (potato balls, frozen, especially fine)
  • Spice mix for french fries

Instructions

  1. Spread out the minced meat in a large shallow bowl. Sprinkle sweet paprika on top. Spread the other spices on top as well. Add three whole eggs and the grated cheese. Mix everything together well (if the mixture doesn`t seem firm enough, add some breadcrumbs to help).
  2. Cut the feta cheese into strips. Spread out the minced dough on a floured board in portions into flat escalopes. Put the feta cheese in the middle and fold over. Very important: Seal the edges of the minced dough tightly so that the cheese cannot run out when roasting. These bags are now fried in hot peanut oil on each side for about 4-5 minutes over medium heat until they are evenly golden brown.
  3. Fry the potato balls briefly in the deep fryer until golden and season with French salt.
  4. Arrange and serve on plates.
