Ingredients

  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts, frozen or fresh
  • 2 onions)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 250 g Mettenden
  • 2 tablespoon., Leveled butter
  • 375 ml broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon ajvar

Instructions

  1. Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut crosswise on the stalk so that it is evenly cooked. Wash thoroughly and drain. Peel and finely chop onions and garlic. Cut the sausage into 1/2 cm thick slices.
  2. Melt the fat in the pot. Fry the sausage slices and onions in it, now add the garlic. Add the Brussels sprouts and pour over the hot broth. Bring everything to the boil briefly, then simmer over low heat for 20 minutes with the saucepan closed. Mix the cornstarch, paprika, tomato paste and sour cream and add. Let it boil again. Season to taste with ajvar and salt.
  3. Boiled potatoes taste good with it.
