Ingredients

  • 250 g cheese, rated, e.. Emmentaler or Gouda
  • 150 g natural yourt
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ salt
  • 5 tablespoon flour, heaped
  • breadcrumbs
  • Fat, or oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the cheese, yogurt and eggs in a bowl with a fork and sprinkle with the flour.
  2. Put plenty of breadcrumbs on a plate. Shape the cheese mixture into flat escalopes one after the other, place on the breadcrumbs, press down a little so that it sticks. Since the schnitzel is difficult to turn, sprinkle the top with breadcrumbs and also press down a little.
  3. Heat the fat in a pan and slide in the schnitzel one at a time using a spatula. After approx. 3 - 5 minutes, carefully turn the schnitzel and fry from the other side.
  4. Since the unroasted schnitzel is very unstable, you should either store it on a smooth surface or put it in the hot fat immediately after breading.
