Ingredients

  • 400 g chicken strips
  • 500 g bell pepper (s), red, yellow, reen
  • 1 bunch spring onion (s)
  • 2 tomato (s)
  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 250 g Gouda cheese, rated
  • 1 bottle salsa
  • 8 wheat tortilla (s)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Chilli powder

Instructions

  1. Clean the peppers and cut into thin strips. Halve the strips again. Clean the spring onions and cut into thin rings.
  2. Heat some oil in a deep pan or, even better, in a wok and fry the sliced chicken in it for about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and some chili powder. Then add peppers and spring onions and fry for about 5 minutes. In the meantime, wash and dice the tomatoes, then add them and fry them briefly.
  3. Clean the iceberg lettuce and cut into strips and place on the table in a bowl. Fill salsa, sour cream and grated Gouda cheese into three more bowls and place them on the table as well. Bring the pan with the main filling to the table.
  4. Heat the wheat tortillas in the microwave according to the instructions and serve. Now everyone can fill their fajita from the middle of the table as they wish.
