Chicken Roll (Chicken with Vegetables in Pita Bread)

You can very quickly and easily prepare a chicken roll at home. Tastier than McDonald’s. An inexpensive and simple recipe for pita bread with chicken and vegetables – you need the simplest set of ingredients and the least effort.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 250 g
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Peking cabbage – 2 leaves
  • French grochitsa with grains
  • Mayonnaise
  • Thin lavash – 1-2 sheets
  • White bread or ground crackers – for breading
  • Flour – for breading
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Milk – about 2 tbsp
  • Sunflower oil – for frying

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Sprinkle with spices, stir and leave to marinate.
  2. Cut the bread into pieces
  3. Grind the bread into crumbs using a blender.
  4. Beat the egg with milk.
  5. Roll the chicken pieces first in flour, then in an egg and bread crumbs (bread crumbs).
  6. Preheat the pan, pour in the oil, put the breaded chicken fillet in the pan. (The pan should not be hot, so that the bread crumbs do not burn.)
  7. Fry the chicken until golden brown on one side, then turn over.
  8. Making the sauce: mix mayonnaise and French mustard (1: 1) using a blender.
  9. Fried chicken should be soft and juicy.
  10. Chop the Chinese cabbage.
  11. Cut the tomato into half rings.
  12. Cut the pita bread into rectangles (4 pieces).
  13. Cut the chicken into pieces.
  14. We spread several pieces of chicken on pita bread (we distribute them on 4 chicken rolls), grease with the prepared sauce, spread the tomato and cabbage.
