Home-Style Chicken Roll (Lavash with Chicken and Vegetables)

Incredibly tasty and satisfying lavash with chicken, vegetables and cheese. The zest of the chicken roll is the dressing. Lavash stuffed with this product composition can replace a full meal.

Ingredients

  • Thin lavash (Armenian) – 1 pc.
  • Chicken fillet – 250 g
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Cheese – 2 slices
  • Lettuce leaves – 1 bunch
  • Olives – 1 tbsp
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • For the sauce:
  • Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
  • Mustard – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. First of all, prepare the sauce: in a cup, mix mayonnaise, mustard and lemon wedge juice. Mix. Add black pepper.
  2. Add sunflower or olive oil. Mix.
  3. Grease a sheet of pita bread with sauce.
  4. Put the washed and dried salad on one side of the pita bread sheet.
  5. Wash all vegetables and dry. Cut onion into half rings, cucumbers and tomatoes into slices.
  6. Add the fried chicken fillet: cut the chicken fillet into slices, roll in an egg batter, beaten with salt and flour, and fry on both sides in sunflower oil.
  7. Place the cheese slices torn into pieces.
  8. Add olives, season with sauce. Roll up the stuffed pita bread, cut in half.
  9. Chicken roll (lavash with chicken) is ready.
