Curd Donuts with Coconut Flakes

Coconut curd donuts are very soft. Cottage cheese and coconut flakes are a great combination that gives donuts a fluffy and loose texture, delicate taste and wonderful aroma. Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese 15% fat – 200 g
  • Flour – 120 g
  • Sugar – 70 g
  • Coconut flakes (medium-sized) – 50 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Vinegar 9% – 1 teaspoon
  • Soda – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Powdered sugar for serving – 50 g
  • Sunflower oil – 400-500 ml

Directions

  1. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl. Add eggs to the curd.
  2. Pour in sugar.
  3. Add the coconut flakes.
  4. Pour in flour.
  5. Then pour soda into a small container, add vinegar and mix. We wait 1 minute for the reaction to go.
  6. Pour the foaming liquid into a bowl with cottage cheese and other ingredients.
  7. Mix everything until smooth.
  8. Pour vegetable oil into a suitable container (saucepan or saucepan). The height of the oil in the pan should be about 5 cm. Heat the oil, then make a small fire. We collect half a tablespoon of the dough and gently slide it into the boiling oil using a teaspoon.
  9. The shapeless lump of dough will form itself into a round donut after one side is fried.
  10. Deep-fry the donuts until golden brown on all sides. It will take 6-8 minutes to fry one batch of donuts.
  11. We take out the finished donuts with a slotted spoon, first put them on a paper sheet so that the excess oil is absorbed, and then put them on a plate. When the curd donuts have cooled a little, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
