Festive Tartlets

Prepare a delicious and colorful appetizer in miniature tartlets for a buffet table, a friendly party or a festive feast. Choose baskets made from crumbly shortcrust pastry, not too deep and small in diameter. These are combined with any filling, it is convenient to eat them while standing or on the move, because they are designed for one bite.

Ingredients

  • Quail eggs – 6 pcs.
  • Lightly salted red fish fillet – 6 slices
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Cottage cheese – 150 g
  • Sand tartlets – 12 pcs.
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Greens – for serving

Directions

  1. Let’s take the products on the list for the recipe for festive red fish tartlets.
  2. Boil quail eggs hard-boiled, cool and remove the shell.
  3. Cut along equal halves.
  4. Divide the fillet of lightly salted red fish in strips about 0.5 cm wide to roll up the side along the edge of the tartlet.

    (You can also cut rings to match the dia of the tartlets.)
  5. Grind fresh cottage cheese with lemon juice and ground black pepper.
  6. We fill the festive tartlets with filling: first, lay out the cottage cheese, then girdle with slightly salted fish.
  7. Decorate the top with a leaf of parsley and a half of a quail egg, if desired, attach two or three eggs with a drop of mayonnaise, sprinkle with black pepper – the festive tartlets are ready. Bon Appetit!
