Ingredients
- 1 medium onion (s)
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 packet spinach leaves (frozen)
- 1 packet feta cheese
- 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 egg (s)
- 2 medium tomato (s)
- salt and pepper
- some nutmeg
- possibly pine nuts

- Peel and chop the onion and garlic and sauté in 1 tablespoon of hot oil. Add the spinach without defrosting and pour in 100 ml of water. Cover and cook over medium heat for about a quarter of an hour.
- Cut the feta cheese into four equal-sized slices. For the breading, mix the breadcrumbs and thyme and whisk the egg. Turn the feta in the egg, then in the breading and fry in 1 tablespoon of oil on each side for 3 - 4 minutes until golden brown.
- Clean, wash and dice tomatoes, add to the spinach approx. 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Season the spinach with salt, pepper and nutmeg and serve with the feta.
- If you want, you can sprinkle roasted pine nuts on top. Flatbread tastes good with it.
