  • 4 pork chop (s)
  • 6 tablespoon oil (olive oil)
  • 1 lemon (s), add the juice
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, freshly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Pork chops are just as popular in Greece as grilled lamb chops. Instead of oregano, as in this recipe, you can also use 5 fresh sage leaves.
  2. Wash the chops and pat dry. Beat the olive oil with the lemon juice and pepper. Mix the oregano into the lemon oil sauce. Peel the garlic cloves and squeeze them with the garlic press. Put the garlic in the sauce. Brush the chops with the sauce and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  3. Then pat the chops dry and cut the edges every 2 cm so that the chops stay straight when grilling. Cook the chops on the hot grill for about 8 minutes on each side. Salt the chops and serve hot.
