Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g butter
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 250 g cornstarch
  • 75 g flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder

For the filling:

  • 100 g hazelnuts

For the cast:

  • 200 g cake icin, liht
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom, ground
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground

Instructions

  1. Put the soft fat in a high bowl, add powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, cornstarch, 1/3 the amount of flour and spices and mix everything well with a hand mixer on the highest setting. Finally add the rest of the flour, knead the dough and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
  2. Shape the dough into rolls approx. 2 cm in diameter, cut each roll into approx. 1 cm thick slices. Cover each slice with a hazelnut, pull the dough together, shape into balls, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° for about 20 minutes.
  3. After baking, let the chocolate cool on a wire rack and cover with icing.
