Chocolate Fudge with Nuts

Chocolate fudge (English fudge) is a delicacy rich in bright flavors, very popular in America, a dessert without baking. Caution: very high in calories! But incredibly tasty!

Ingredients

  • Black chocolate – 200 g
  • Condensed milk – 100 g
  • Hazelnuts – 100 g
  • Shortbread cookies – 80 g
  • Marshmallow – 60 g
  • Cognac – 50 ml
  • Butter – 20 g
  • White chocolate (for decoration) – 50 g

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need.
  2. Break the dark chocolate into pieces, combine with cognac, butter, and condensed milk.
  3. In a steam bath, heat until the chocolate is completely softened, stirring occasionally.
  4. Lightly fry the hazelnuts in a dry skillet.
  5. Peel the nuts from the thin skins, which will easily separate after frying.
  6. Break the shortbread into medium-sized pieces.
  7. Combine the chocolate mass with chopped cookies, peeled nuts (whole), and marshmallows (if the marshmallow is large, then it is better to cut it into small pieces).
  8. Stir and place in a silicone or parchment paper-lined mold. Place in a cool place.
  9. After hardening, remove the chocolate fudge from the mold.
  10. Decorate with melted white chocolate.
  11. Cut into pieces of a convenient size for you and serve.
