Homemade Shawarma with Minced Meat and Mushrooms

A simple recipe for making delicious homemade shawarma with minced meat and oyster mushrooms.

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • (for 3 shawarma)
  • Thin lavash – 3 sheets
  • Minced pork – 250 g
  • Oyster mushrooms – 200 g
  • Processed smoked cheese – 150 g
  • Sauerkraut – 150 g
  • Spinach – 100 g
  • Potatoes (medium) – 7 pcs.
  • Red onion – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 4 cloves
  • Mayonnaise – 250 g
  • French mustard – 2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – how much will it take
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Spices to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare products for homemade shawarma with minced meat and mushrooms.
  2. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips.
  3. Fry the potatoes in a preheated pan with vegetable oil for 20 minutes (until tender). Add salt, pepper, spices, mix.
  4. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  5. Wash oyster mushrooms and chop finely.
  6. Fry the mushrooms in a preheated pan with vegetable oil for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Peel the onion, cut into half rings.
  8. Add salt, pepper, spices to the minced meat, mix thoroughly.
  9. Fry the minced meat in a preheated pan with vegetable oil for 15-20 minutes (until tender).
  10. Press peeled garlic into mayonnaise, add mustard, salt, pepper, spices. To stir thoroughly.
  11. Add finely chopped spinach to the sauce and stir.
  12. Spread lavash on the table, prepare all the components of the shawarma.
  13. Grease each sheet of pita bread in the center with 2 tbsp sauce.
  14. Layout the potatoes.
  15. Layout the cabbage.
  16. Layout the onion.
  17. Next – minced meat.
  18. Add mushrooms.
  19. Put another 1 tablespoon on top. l. sauce and cheese.
  20. Roll up homemade shawarma with minced meat and mushrooms. Fry it in a hot frying pan greased with vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  21. Homemade shawarma with minced meat and mushrooms is ready.
