“Hot Dog” with Crab Sticks, Cucumber and Bell Pepper

Crab stick salad rolls are an original appetizer that doesn’t take much time to prepare. The juicy filling with fresh cucumbers, bell peppers and yogurt sauce will be a great alternative to the sausages familiar to hot dogs. Try making a hot dog with crab sticks and fresh vegetables.

Cook: 15 mins

Servings: 3


  • Hot dog buns – 3 pcs.
  • Crab sticks (or crab meat) – 150 g
  • Fresh cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Sweet red pepper – ½ pc.
  • Lettuce leaves – 3 pcs.

For the sauce:

  • Natural yogurt – 60 g
  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste


  1. We prepare the necessary products.
  2. Cut the crab sticks or crab meat into large pieces.
  3. Wash the cucumber, bell pepper and lettuce and cut it into small pieces.
  4. Combine the chopped ingredients in a convenient bowl.
  5. Put yogurt, mustard in a bowl, squeeze lemon juice. Salt and pepper lightly. Stir the sauce.
  6. We send the prepared yogurt sauce to a bowl with crab sticks and vegetables, mix.
  7. We cut each bun lengthwise.
  8. Put the filling-salad of crab sticks with vegetables into buns.
  9. “Hot dogs” with crab sticks, cucumber and sweet pepper are ready.
