by Editorial Staff

Minced gravy is a fairly popular dish, because it is prepared quickly and easily. The rich taste and aroma of the gravy go well with any side dish – pasta, rice and boiled potatoes.

Cook: 35 mins

Servings: 3-4

Ingredients

  • Minced meat – 500 grams
  • Carrots – 2 Pieces
  • Onions – 2 Pieces
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Tomato paste – 1.5-2 Art. spoons
  • Vegetable oil – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt – 0.5 Teaspoons (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper – 2 Pinches
  • Dry Basil – 2 Pinches

Directions

  1. We peel carrots and onions, wash. Cut the onion into small cubes, grate the carrots on a medium or fine grater.
  2. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the onion on it until transparent.
  3. Add carrots to the onion in the pan, fry for 5 minutes. You can cover the pan with a lid.
  4. And now add minced meat to the fried vegetables. You can take any: chicken, pork or beef.
  5. Close with a lid and stir periodically. In the process of cooking, the minced meat will grab into lumps, knead it with a fork.
  6. When the minced meat is already fried, add salt, ground pepper and tomato paste. Stir and fry for a couple of minutes.
  7. Add a little water (to the consistency you need), dry basil and chopped garlic. Instead of basil, you can use your other favorite spices. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes – and remove the pan from the heat.

Bon appetit!
