Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 4 egg (s)
  • 4 tablespoon water, hot
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 50 g almond (s), (round)

For the cream:

  • 0.5 liter ½ milk + coffee mixed
  • 1 packet pudding powder, vanilla (or tiramisu)
  • 100 g suar
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g flaked almonds

Instructions

  1. Beat the yolks and hot water until creamy; then stir with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy.
  2. Beat the egg whites to stiff snow and add to the yolk mass; Likewise, sieve the flour mixed with the baking powder and the ground almonds over the mixture. Carefully fold in everything!
  3. Spread the mixture about 1 cm thick on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes at 200 °. Immediately turn over and let cool down.
  4. Prepare a pudding from the milk-coffee mixture and the pudding powder (stir frequently while it cools). Mix the butter with sugar until frothy and add the pudding spoon by spoon.
  5. Cut the sponge cake into 4 strips and combine with the cream. Also decorate the edge and top with the cream and the flaked almonds.
