Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the cherries. Cut the stems back to approx. 3 cm. Layer the sugar in a tall glass and pour the vodka over it. Close the jar and let it rest in a cool place for at least 8 weeks.
  2. They are said to work wonders after large meals.
  3. In Russia you supposedly eat a cherry for every degree below zero, after which nobody will freeze!
