Ingredients

  • 300 g flour or whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or sunflower oil
  • 200 ml water, milk or yogurt

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix into a smooth, soft batter. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a coated pan. Divide the dough into about 8 portions and bake them one after the other in a little oil on both sides over medium heat. The dough is quite sticky, so you may just take a spoonful of dough and put it in the pan and press it flat with the spatula when turning.
  3. If you like, you can refine the dough with spices, onions, olives or ham. The pan breads taste best warm, but they can also be baked again briefly in the pan or heated in the microwave.
