Ingredients

  • 350 g flour
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 150 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 cube fresh yeast (or pack dry yeast)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon basil, chopped
  • Grease for the tin

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a large bowl and mix with the salt, sugar, oregano and basil. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water and pour it onto the flour, then add the 4 tablespoons of olive oil and stir everything well with a hand mixer.
  2. Then cover this dough with a kitchen towel and place in a warm place so that it can rise for 30 minutes.
  3. Then knead it again, spread it on a greased baking sheet (it shouldn`t stick too much, just stir in a little more flour) top it up as you like and let it rest for another 5 minutes before baking.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes (at 200 ° C top / bottom heat, more than 20 minutes). This depends on the thickness of the covering and the nature of the oven.
