Pork Kebeb on Skewers, in a Jar (in the Oven)

If you like barbecue and meat dishes in general, then I advise you to cook pork barbecue in the oven in a jar. kebab is a bank sounds mysterious, but in practice, everything is very simple.

Ingredients

  • Pork – 1 kg
  • Bulb onions – 4 pcs.
  • Rice – 230 g
  • Smoked lard – 200 g
  • Mustard – 1 tbsp
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Apple cider vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Seasonings to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the meat into cubes about 4×4 centimetermetres. Cut the onion into rings.
  2. Add half the chopped onion to half of the meat and marinate in a mixture of lemon juice, black pepper and mustard.
  3. Add chopped onions and marinate in a mixture of seasoning, black pepper and apple cider vinegar.
    Leave all marinated meat for 1 hour.
  4. Cut the smoked bacon into slices.
  5. Salt the marinated meat to taste and let stand for 15 minutes, then string on wooden skewers 4 pieces of meat for each, alternating with smoked bacon.
  6. Pour ½ cup of rice into the bottom of two three-litre jars. Put the marinade onion on top of the rice.
  7. Place the skewers with meat in the jars with the tip-up.
  8. Wrap the necks of cans with skewers on skewers with two layers of foil and make several holes in the foil.
  9. Put the jars in a cold oven and bake the kebab on skewers at 220 degrees Celsius for 1 hour. Then turn off the oven and leave the kebab for another 15 minutes to cool.
  10. Pork kebab in a jar is ready. Serve with herbs, ketchup and rice.
