Rip off the lemon peel and squeeze out the juice. Whip the butter or margarine with sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until creamy white.
Stir in the lemon zest, juice and quark. Add 375 g flour and the baking powder. Turn the raisins well washed and dried in the remaining flour and stir in as well.
Grease a 30 cm long loaf tin or wrap it with baking paper and pour in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 ° C (convection) for about 1 hour.
