Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 190 g suar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 200 g flour, (405)
  • 60 g cornstarch
  • 0.5 ½ point baking powder
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 1 lemon (s), (the stripping one untreated)
  • 0.5 pinch ½ (s) salt
  • 1 lemon (s), add the juice
  • 100 g powdered suar

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, sugar and spices until frothy. Sift the flour, cornstarch and baking powder. Eggs and flour are stirred alternately with speed 1 below.
  2. Line the loaf pan with greaseproof paper. (Size approx. 25/10/7 cm) Pour in the mixture and bake at approx. 160 ° C for 45 minutes.
  3. If the cake has a small skin (after approx. 10 minutes), carefully cut into it with a sharp knife so that the cake can rise evenly.
  4. Mix the powdered sugar with a little lemon juice to a thick glaze. When the cake has cooled down, coat the cake with lemon glaze.
