Squid in Batter

Batter squid is a delicious, original, and quick snack.

Cook: 40 mins

Servings: 4


  • Fresh squids – 500 g
  • Eggs – 1 pcs.
  • Milk – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – 2 pinches
    Ground black pepper – 1 pinch
    Bread crumbs – 3 tbsp
    Flour – 3 tbsp
    Cheese – 100 g
    Garlic – 1-2 cloves
    Parsley – 3-4 sprigs
    Sour cream – 1 glass


  1. Products for cooking squid in the batter.
  2. Boil water layout squid carcasses. Boil the squids (no more than 3 minutes).
  3. Cool and cut into rings 1 cm wide. Dry.
  4. Prepare the batter: beat the egg with milk.
  5. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Prepare the breading: Mix the breadcrumbs with flour.
  7. Dip the squids in the batter.
  8. Then breaded.
  9. Heat vegetable oil in a cauldron or saucepan. Fry squid rings in vegetable oil until golden brown (5-7 minutes) over medium heat.
  10. Prepare the sauce: grate the cheese.
  11. Peel and squeeze the garlic through the garlic.
  12. Chop the herbs finely.
  13. Mix cheese and garlic, add sour cream and chopped parsley. Mix.
  14. Squids in the batter are ready. The dish is served with a sauce in which squid should be dipped before eating.
