Vegetable and Mushroom Kebab with Garlic Dressing

Vegetable and mushroom kebab is a great addition to meat and fish dishes at a picnic. I suggest making a kebab from young zucchini, onions and champignons. The zucchini has a very delicate taste, the onion gives the vegetable kebab a piquancy, and the mushrooms – the zest.

Ingredients

  • Young zucchini – 500 g (1 pcs.)
  • Mushrooms (champignons) – 1 kg
  • Onions – 400 g (3 pcs.)
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare all the ingredients. You can take any mushrooms, I took champignons.
  2. Wash the zucchini, cut along the edges and cut into circles about 0.5 cm wide.
    Peel the onion and cut into circles of the same width.
  3. We string on skewers: a circle of zucchini, a circle of onions, a whole mushroom, a circle of zucchini, onions, etc. We form two skewers.
  4. We put coal on the grill and kindle a fire. When the coals are burned out, pour water over the flame so that there is no open fire.
  5. We spread skewers with vegetables and mushrooms on the grill. We cook shish kebabs from vegetables and mushrooms on the grill for 25 minutes, periodically turning.
  6. Preparing the garlic dressing. Squeeze the garlic into a bowl, add salt, pepper and sunflower oil. Stir and let it brew for 5 minutes.
  7. We grease the kebab of vegetables and mushrooms with garlic dressing and serve.
