Ingredients
- 25 g butter
- 200 ml water
- 120 g short rain rice
- 500 ml milk
- 100 ml cream
- a bit salt
- 1 pinch vanilla sugar
- 250 g strawberries
- powdered sugar
- 3 banana (s)
- 0.5 ½ lemon (s), juice it
- 50 g almond (s), rouhly chopped

- Bring the butter and water to the boil and pre-cook the rice in it for 5 minutes. Add milk and cream and cook for another 20 minutes until soft. Season to taste with salt and vanilla sugar. Mash two peeled bananas and mix with the rice. Chill the congee in the refrigerator.
- Puree the strawberries and powdered sugar in a blender.
- Turn the rice over and garnish with the sliced third banana. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with almonds. Serve the sauce separately.
